OCMH holds four children's mental health learning meetings each year that bring a large and broad group of children's mental health advocates and professionals together to learn about children's mental health initiatives and activities across the state. This Children's Mental Health Network is open to anyone interested in children's mental health in Wisconsin.
Meetings are structured to provide information on children's mental health topics and initiatives, challenge attendees to take information back to their organizations, and provide networking opportunities. Meetings are virtual and on a quarterly basis – the first Friday of February, May, August, and November from 10 am -12 pm.
The distribution list includes a wide range of stakeholders including lived experience leaders, state department representatives, mental health advocacy organizations, healthcare provider associations, healthcare systems, mental health professionals, mental health provider organizations, youth-serving organizations, educators, school mental health program representatives, and more.
