Why do you serve as a CIP? As a parent with lived experience I want to be able to better help other parents and exact systems change so that other families have easily accessible resources.

Why is it important? People who have first hand knowledge of the systems in place and are also intimately aware of what works and what is ineffective.

What is one personal goal? To utilize this experience so I am able to take on a roll to effectively educate my community.

What is your number one goal for systems change? Making sure that our children’s teachers have the education to better recognize and understand social emotional cues.
